Installation scripts and manuals
for Oracle and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server

Here are installation scripts and installation manuals for Oracle at Linux SLES9. These scripts are posted here in hope, that they can help. Some are well designed and have flexible configuration, others are hardcoded and can be used just as an idea.

I created these scripts, because I wish to have EXACTLY the same installation every time when I do it, so I could not bear any manual operations (such as edit file XXX or run program YYY) - I have all this operations in scripts, which are sorted by numbers. They (scripts) do all job. As a result (having auto installation for all my Linuxes) we can reinstall any Oracle server in 1 hour from scratch, or any Oracle cluster in a few hours.

In no case this site can be treated as full and official. recommend to read official Novell documentation for Oracle @ SuSe Linux first - it is here: http://www.novell.com/products/linuxenterpriseserver/oracle/documents.html.

Many thanks to Fabrizio Magni with his excellent site
